Cybersecurity Training Workshop for Illinois Farmers

This hands-on workshop will focus on practical steps that can be taken to improve cybersecurity and reduce the threat of identity theft.  Participants will learn about potential cyber-threats and how to safeguard their personal and business computers. The training will include  hands-on practices on how to install and use anti-virus, anti-spyware, and firewall technology on their personal and business computers.  The workshop will also discuss password strategies and methods to identify and avoid phishing scams and email fraud.

 

Registration is limited to the first 24 registrants. Registration deadline is March 17, or until space fills. Program will include coffee, tea, and pastries in the morning, and lunch in Watterson Commons Dining Center.
